What are you facing this morning? Did you wake up with what seems like the weight of the world on your shoulders? Did you wake up wondering “how” you were going to pay for this or that? Did you wake up feeling so behind on life? Did you wake up to the loss of a loved one? Did you wake up to a what seems like a failed marriage?
If so, I want to remind you with these simple words:
“It’s going to be ok.”
It’s scary to walk by faith if I can be honest. Walking by faith means that you have no confidence in what you can see while having faith in what you cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Where is your confidence?
If it’s in your situation, your circumstances, your job, your relationships and whatever else then you may not feel like things are going to be ok.
If your confidence and hope is in the Lord then you will understand that things are going to be ok.
Misplaced confidence is a breeding ground for frustration, comparison and weariness.
What are you hoping for right now? Maybe you’re hoping for an answered prayer. You’re hoping for an opened door. You’re hoping for a job. You’re hoping to move out of your living situation. You’re hoping for money. You’re hoping for success.
In itself, these things aren’t bad. But you may be staring at what you’re hoping for more than you are trusting that God can work out those things for your good.
Do you know that when you are believing God for some things that you will have a different type of dependency on the Lord? This dependency will cause for you to grow in an unexplainable way spiritually. LEVERAGE this situation to strengthen your faith walk.
God uses these hard times to teach you to trust Him. He uses these times to show you that He has things under control. He’s using this to teach you that He is with you. Don’t miss out on this lesson.
Yeah, I am believing God for some things. But my hope is limited. I’ve learned that these earthly things will come and go. But, if I place my hope in the Author and the Finisher of my faith — then I know that things will work out.
What does that look like?
For example, we are currently in the process of buying a house. It’s pretty stressful in general to say the least. So, I search for homes, we view them and if we like one — we put an offer in. We have questions like:
- What if I don’t get this house?
- What if I don’t have time to move?
- What if they try to go out of our budget?
- What if the house needs repairs? Who pays for that?
- What if we don’t have time to move before we are back on the road?
- What if … what if?
Practically, these are very real questions.
My response?
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?” – Matthew 6:35 I’m going to also add this revelation ” This is why I don’t tell you to worry about where you’re gonna live Heather. I got your family. I got you. Life is more than where you live.”
Now it’s your turn: Add your reality.
I am not going to worry about my everyday life. Why? Because when I worry, I make decisions based on what I think and not based on what God thinks. I rush ahead of him. I don’t cast my care onto Him and I cast my care onto myself.
So, I take things one day at a time. I don’t rush ahead of myself. I know our house search will work itself out. How is stressing out going to make things easier? If anything, it’s going to rob me from enjoying the journey of buying a home. I refuse to get robbed from anything. I may not be able to change the circumstances but I can change my attitude. I can choose joy. I can choose to be thankful for so many things.
If you keep reading in Matthew 6 it says to “look at the birds.” God so clothes and takes care of them. Of course He will take care of you — oh ye of little faith.
So, I challenge you today to look at the birds. Go outside, look at a bird and realize that they don’t have a job and they aren’t skinny and frail. Those birds eat good. God provides for them and HE WILL PROVIDE and TAKE CARE OF YOU.
1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Philippians 4:6-7 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Hang in there. Stop stressing out. Stop worry. Don’t doubt God. Pass this test.

Right on time. Thank you so much ❤️
Come on Only Lady. I woke up to news of my grandmother, worrying about not having money, and just feeling behind. I so needed this this morning. Thank you for your obedience in writing this.
Now this, now this came right on time. My spirit was been worn down in pure worry. This is a sweet reminder that God is with me. This is the 2nd confirmation I received and it is inevitably. Prior to reading this blog, I heard birds chirping in the background. Little did I know. God is in the details. Thank you Heather for your obedience to the Holy Spirit. I have learned that our obedience to the Holy Spirit isn’t just saying yes to ourselves but has a trickle down effect for others. I am one of those others. God bless! ❤️
Wow Heather! I really needed to hear that today! I have been struggling lately with some many things. Being a widow single mom trying to figure out what to do next has been a challenge but these words today really encouraged me to just trust God no matter what it looks like because it will all work out for my good! I love and appreciate you! Thank You!
This is a very sweet reminder. Thank you for this .
It is amazing how God will send something your way at the exact moment that you need it! He is an awesome God and I love Him. I literally have been having this internal battle about this very thing this past week and weekend. Feeling like I am not doing enough, in my home, financially, and just in life PERIOD!! Struggling with thoughts about my marriage and if its worth it when I feel a certain way. It has truly been a struggle! Thank you for being obedient to the voice of God and sharing this with me! Thank you so much, it means more than you will ever know!
Literally right on time word this morning. Thankyou God for sending this word.
This was right on time. Today marks the 9th year of my mother’s passing and I did not feel like getting up this morning and when I did, I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders. But I know that it’s going to be ok. Thank you for this.
Ever since I started my day asking God what He wanted to say to me today, I’ve noticed He always comes through!
I started worrying about a certain situation and this reminder came at the right moment!! Thank you Jesus and thank you Heather for being willing and obedient to letting God speak through you!
God is good!
Very Very Timely!! Leaving a relationship that has not been helpful to my spiritual growth. And it has never been heavy on my heart like today.
On time word, you’re so transparent and I’m happy that you allow the Lord to use you to bless others. This means so much to me, you will never know. Thank you Heather.
When I say this was right on time!! I mean it. This was definitely needed.
WOW!!! When I say this is right on time!!!!!!
I will pass this test! In Jesus name!
This was right on time.
Thank you for reminding me to keep my focus on God for he cares for me. I have had alot to worry about lately and I have been praying to God silently in my heart to come through for me and my family but i didn’t realise i was magnifying the situation more than I was magnifying God. Am making that exchange now only God deserves to be magnified. No worry can change any situation only God can.
Thank you so much, Heather God bless you.
Right on time! Thank you for this message!
Wow.. I echo what the other comments have said and that this is truly an on time word. I woke up feeling worried about a dream I had and then followed by a text of an old friend getting married and selfishly feeling like when is it going to be my turn Lord??? But when I read the post it was God’s confirmation that everything is going to be ok and He’s got me. I don’t have to worry and I don’t have to look for someone to talk to about it. He wants me to call on Him and trust Him more. So that’s what I’m going to do. We serve an awesome God! Put your trust in Him always because he never fails! Thank you Lord! And thank you Heather for being obedient and sharing this message.
Oh Heather Lindsey! May God continue to bless you, protect you and your family! You are always right on time. I just walked out of school and I am told that I have a $728 balance on my account that I wasn’t aware of. My advisor recently quit and did not inform me prior. The president of the school just told me that it must be paid or i will not get my nursing degree in September which I have been working endlelessly for. How do you come up with over $800 while working per diem to support yourself, pay for school and others. As I drive back, I couldnt say one word. Then I came to the library to search my e-mail and here is the blog to encourage not to give up. Thank You Heather. Philipians 4:6.
You are all over me with word!!! Thank you!!! Thank you! Thank you!! As my soul cries out and with tears in my eyes!!!!
Thank you so much everything you said was right on point and what I needed to hear this very moment. God bless you and your house Search…our God is faithful!!!!
Wow !!! When I tell you I just met up and had my 1st meeting about purchasing my 1st home ever and the steps to get there, I left feeling overwhelmed and discouraged BUT GOD. God poured into me right afterwards and then I read this. Thanks so much and such an on time word.
Thank you Heather,I needed this because I felt so angry with myself for letting opportunities by pass but I know it would be okay.If I didn’t get them,it wasn’t meant for me.
Definitely for me. I’m fighting depression, I’ve seen God go to work in my life and He is healing me… I am hanging on. God hears me. I love Him. This is a painful process but I know it’s working out for my good. He told me to stand firm. He has a plan and a purpose. 💕 I will stand strong dad.
Thank you Heather for reminding us that everything will be ok! This word was right on time. 😊
This was a on time word. Was worrying about a financial situation. But I know God is faithful. Thank You Heather for allowing God to use you. God Bless.😊😊

Thank you so much!! I wrote you last night worried cause my rent was going up and I wouldn’t be able to afford it. I had an appointment to sign a year lease with the new amount today. After telling them that I would like to vacate, cause I was afraid I won’t be able to afford it. The manager asked if my rent stayed the same would I reconsider and sign a 6 month lease? I didn’t say yes right away but will let them know tomorrow. I plan on telling them yes and sign a six month lease. This word came right on time, His word sustained me throughout the day. Thank you, Heather, for your obedience to His calling.
Thank you, Heather I needed this today. I am in the season of applying for my first job post graduate school and have no idea with whats to come with a ton of worries. This gave me faith that god is working out all of the details.
Wow that this was for me, I am so thankful for you Heather Lindsey, your message spoke to me this morning, and I can say as a mother of 2 small children I worry so much about everyday and so much more but you remind me today that I need to cast my worries, fear unto the lord and he will provide. I need to have faith and God will do the rest and it’s going to be ok.
Thank you Heather . God Bless you
