Happy Day 23.
It’s easy to read your bible and pray.
It’s easy to read these emails and get excited.
It’s easy to watch a sermon and get super excited.
It’s easy to go to a conference and get encouraged.
But when will the bible, emails, the sermon and the conference get in your HEART?
It’s not enough to just read the bible, it’s time to apply it.
It’s not enough to just get excited about the emails but you still LIVE in bondage in your own life.
SISTER, are you listening to me? I want you to walk in the FREEDOM of WHO GOD CREATED YOU TO BE. I’m not satisfied with you walkin’ around here all average.
The difference between those that operate in the power of the Holy Spirit and those that do not is obedience. It’s time that we start applying what we know!
What does that mean practically?
It means that when you get faced with a test today, you will pass it.
It means that when you hit hard times, you remind yourself that you belong to the Lord and greater is He that is in YOU than He that is in this world.
It means that you’re gonna stop having sex outside of marriage.
It means that you’re gonna go search the scriptures and find your TRUE identity so that this world doesn’t swindle you.
It means that you’re going to stop looking at pornography. Porn is the fruit of a lustful mindset so we renounce that and we are gonna renew our minds and do something different.
It means that grab the word of God and declare it over your body if you need healing.
It means that you smile and give other people the advantage.
It means that you forgive your husband who is driving you up the wall. The fight ain’t against your husband, it’s against the devil. Don’t forget your real enemy.
Oh Heather, what if I’m just changing my behavior but my heart is the same? Sis, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that God gives us a way of escape. I can stand with you, believe with you, pray with you but you gotta MAKE up in your mind that you are going to renew your mind by reading God’s word and practically APPLY it.
This EARTH IS NOT OUR HOME.
Philippians 3:20
“But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior.”
What a perspective?! You’re not a citizen of this earth. Some of ya’ll need to go pick up your REAL passports. We belong to the Lord! What you’re doing on this earth will prepare you for what God has called you to do.
You don’t know when you’re going to breathe your last breath. Will you spend your whole life defeated?!?
You will NOT IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
You will walk in your calling.
You will step out on faith! I bind fear in the name of Jesus!
You already have the victory!
You will trust in the Lord!
You will depend on HIM!
Let’s keep going! Grab that bible and let’s run to the feet of Jesus. Let Him pour into you. Stop depending on yourself. Depend on Him alone. He is forever faithful!
I am committed to writing you everyday. Through holidays, through whatever. I am excited about what God has called you to do.
It’s going to be an amazing year together.
